Back in 2018 I started my first Camino de Santiago. The Camino is a very famous pilgrims way to Santiago de Compostela in Spain and people from all over the world love to walk this way. The french way – the so called Camino Francés – starts in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port.
We have a word in German – Weltanschauung – literally for seeing the world, but in the meaning of philosophy of life or ideology. The point is: To know and understand the world, you have to see the world. The best way to do this, is to travel. It’s an expensive affair, but you ‘ve got to spoil yourself sometimes.
I love my family, my friends and my work, but sometimes I need a distance – literally, to keep the balance right. That’s why I went to Prague by bus last week, found an inexpensive hotel in the city center and had three days for shooting.
